Authors submitting papers should pay full registration fees as noted above.
All fees are in US Dollar.
Access to all sessions, exhibits, welcome reception, conference program, conference proceeding on CD Rom or DVD, plus additional conference handouts.
Each paper submitted requires a prepaid paper deposit. You may submit up to 2 papers at $25 each.
One paid paper deposit will be credited towards your paid registration fee (1 paid fee) only if the deposit was paid in your record. Paper deposits are not refundable or transferable. Any additional paper deposits are an operational fee and cannot be applied to your registration fee.
Registration (minus 1 paper deposit) can be assigned to a co-author listed on the final paper submission. We are unable to refund registration fees for those corresponding authors or co-authors who are unable to obtain visas.
General Attendees Refund Policy
If you have completed your registration payment and are unable to attend, you are eligible for a 50% refund of your registration fee until 6 August 2009. Your registration fee is non-refundable after 6 August 2009.
Authors Refund Policy
At least one author of the paper must be registered at the appropriate full conference rate (Member, Non-member, Student member, Student non-member) in order to upload the final paper. If complete payment of a registration fee is not received, authors will not be able to proceed with uploading their final manuscript. While any author of the paper may be registered, only the designated "corresponding author" may upload the final paper. Once a manuscript has been uploaded, the registration fees cannot be refunded. Please be sure that the attending author completes payment and uploads the final paper. This means that they must be the "corresponding author".
Registration fees for "Corresponding Authors" are non-refundable after 18 July 2009.
Author No Shows
Any paper submitted to an EMBS Conference, if accepted by the Program Committee, is expected to have at least one author attend and present the paper at the conference. Authors of the accepted papers who do not attend the Conference, will be subscribed to a "No Show List", compiled by the Society for internal purposes. The "No Show List" will be made available to all EMBS conference organizers, who can reject submissions from these authors based on their past negative impact on an EMBS conference.
IEEE reserves the right to exclude a paper from distribution after the conference (e.g., removal from IEEE Xplore) if the paper is not presented at the conference.
