 Job description: - to provide assistance in the teaching duties of the department (including guiding of bachelor and master students in laboratories or at exercises); - to conduct scientific research in the discipline of material processing with biomedical application, in order to prepare a PhD (at least 50% of the time should be spent at doctoral research); - to provide assistance in the scientific duties of the research group Product and Material Technology (PMT).

The Faculty of Engineering and Architecture has a vacancy for a position of junior assistant, starting from September 1, 2014. It concerns a temporary full-time position for a renewable period of two years. Department - reference: EA20 a position of full-time junior assistant at the Department of Industrial System and Product Design (EA20) – salary at 100%: min. € 23.468,58 – max. € 39.716,10 (at present paid out at 160,84%) Profile: -hold a diploma of Master of Science in Engineering or Master of Science in Engineering Technology or an equivalent diploma (also final year students can apply); -be motivated to conduct scientific research leading to a doctorate in engineering or a doctorate in engineering technology; -be motivated to present the results of the scientific research at international conferences and to publish in international journals; -have knowledge of material processing, mechanical engineering and (electro)mechanics; -have experience in teaching and/or guiding of practical classes is recommended.
