This is a great manuscript that has taught me so much about how to set up my experiments for error in biology. It clearly explains how to interpret data in other manuscripts as well. Highly recommend you read it.

Topics covered include
Error bars, SD, SE, confidence interval, and much more. The paper is freely available for download the Journal of Cell Biology
