can you tell me if we can isolate and purify the cDNA after a reverse transcription, if yes would you please bring me some informations, protocols,..
thanks

Hi hanen,

Hi hanen,

In theory you can, although there would be very little cDNA synthesized so purifying it would be tricky. You can use any number of commercial kits that puridy cDNA, like the one sold by Enzo Life Sciences.

Hi hanen,

Hi hanen,

If you are using columns to purify the cDNA, please also consider the size exclusions of the columns. For instance, many small RNAs are similar in size to primers. Since many people use columns to remove unincorporated primers from their PCR mixture, you could be removing any miRNAs or siRNAs from your cDNA mixture (especially if you have used random primers to generate the cDNA).
