DNA crystals

Does anyone know how to stablize a DNA crystal at room temperature? I've been trying image DNA crystals by atomic force microscopy (AFM), but they keep melting. Is it possible to "fix" DNA crystals?

Hi Bettye,

Hi Bettye,

I work for Biomatrica which has developed a dissolvable polymer for stabilizing DNA molecules. We have never tested it for crystals but you are welcome to a free sample to test it for yourself.

If you have any questions please email me as I am not yet in the habit of checking this site.

Cheers,
