Postdoctoral Fellowship, Division of Oncology, Children's Hospital of Philadelphia
The Leukemia Research Laboratory in Division of Oncology at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia seeks entry and mid-level candidates for a post-doctoral training position. Applicants must have a Ph.D., M.D., M.D./Ph.D. or D.V.M. degree and have demonstrated excellent qualifications from graduate school training in the areas of cell and molecular biology and/or pharmacology and have an interest in leukemia.
Evidence of outstanding past performance is required. Responsibilities will include preclinical in vitro and in vivo advancement of molecularly targeted agents within a funded research program. The experiments incorporate cutting edge pharmacostatistical modeling and simulation approaches into data analysis, experimental design and development of pharmacodynamic activity biomarkers. The position affords a rich training experience utilizing state-of-the-art molecular and proteomic approaches, flow cytometry assays and an animal model applied to new agent advancement.
The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia is nationally and internationally recognized for excellence in clinical oncology, oncology research, and education and has launched a Center for Childhood Cancer Research with integrated basic, translational and clinical objectives to conquer pediatric cancers and leukemia. The position avails the wealth of resources of CHOP and University of Pennsylvania biomedical research environment.
