hi,

hi,
Sorry- your question is not clear for me. Nevertheless, due to the silencing of the suppressor genes only the brain (not only brain tumour but all types...) tumour occur. There are some methods for activation but those can be applicable only if you know ‘your gene of interest’ as well their complete ‘signalling network’; so that the activation method may work. Besides, both tumour suppressor and oncogenes have their own broad ranges of signalling networks and cross-talk and don’t know which genes/pathways are going to ‘keep-activate or suppress’. Hope the cancer atlas program may help in the future.
Besides, brain tumour itself is a highly complex one compared to other tumour types. So it’s very difficultly to answer to your question now. Perhaps you can explain in details so that we (other members) can try to help/share their opinion...
Kindest regards
