Opening For Biomaterials Teaching Fellow - Imperial College London

The Department wishes to appoint a Teaching Fellow who will undertake teaching in the biomaterials components of the undergraduate and MSc curricula in Materials Science and Engineering. For first year undergraduate students they will deliver lectures, supervise problem classes and carry out assessment. For fourth year undergraduate and MSc students they will deliver lectures and carry out assessment. They will be expected to develop their own lecture materials, problem sets and examination questions, based on current resources.
 
A PhD degree (or equivalent) in a biomaterials related discipline, substantial teaching experience, and excellent knowledge of what constitutes safe practice in a lab are essential. You should be well organised, able to contribute innovative but practical ideas, able to work well in a team, and be an excellent communicator (both to undergraduates and academics).
