Position: Postdoctoral Associate

Description: MicroSphere and NanoSphere Engineering of Controlled Release Therapeutics: We are seeking a highly motivated recent graduate to join our project team to engineer encapsulation of therapeutics into polymeric systems for use as controlled release therapies. Aside from research responsibilities, opportunities will be available for mentoring undergraduate and graduate students. Knowledge and experience with proteins, peptides, lipids and biocompatible polymers orincluding FTIR protein analysis is desired, and some experience with pharmaceutical formulation would be an advantage. Highly motivated individuals with a recent Ph.D. and experience in physical chemistry, chemical engineering, biomedical engineering, biochemistry or a related scientific discipline and interest in drug delivery are encouraged to apply.
