I am working on Dopamine at

I am working on Dopamine at the moment and I'm going to conduct the preclinical CNS safety pharmacology testing in December... If you are interested, you could join me in my work or you could keep in touch for some discussions... My work on Parkinson's disease is nearly completed and this is the last step before I can send the drug for clinical trials... Do let me know if that's alright with you...

Thanks for the response,

Thanks for the response,

Are you in academics? If you are a drug discovery industry employee then I would also like to know what regulatory outhorities ask for in case of preclinical safety of the antidepressants ?

Most of the compounds have activity in brain and that is why I would appreciate to be known whether there is any CNS safety issue to be adressed to the FDA additionaly than the core battery tests ?

I am working in Singapore so if your bench area is approahcable I would love to join you in your work!!!!

Anyways what efficacy model did you do for parkinsin's ?

DC

Best wishes for your work !

there are a few requirements

there are a few requirements when you look at preclinical safety trials... the first and main criteria is the ethical society.... if the body accepts that your work is not related to personal gains or human testing or other such things and that you are not going to sacrifice the animals, then they will say ok to the testing... and this does not apply only to the drugs that affect the brain.... any drug that needs to be tested needs to pass the ethical society approval before the work can be started... my work passed the society's requirements and so they allowed me to continue...

hi,

Hope your experiment is over for preclinical toxicity, i recently gone through this topic in this forum, i want to know the dose calculation for the CNS safty or toxicity testing, as per my knowledge the dose of CNS drug should be lower compare to other due to seddetive effect of the CNS drug.

Please just give out put of your experiment so can i get some informatin on CNS drugs & its safety study.

Thansk & regards
