» pH meter is Standardised by pH 7 & calibrated with pH 4 & 9.2. i searched about that but i haven't found much difference. then Why these two diffrent terms

» I am calibrating spectrophotometer with using a blank sulphuric acid but accoring to indian pharmacopia thery had not mentioned to use the refrence solution sulphuric acid so what is the reason behind using the blank and why we should use a blank as reference.
