Has anybody used phage for mice immunization?
Never heard of it. What's the aim?
By Phage do you mean a plasmid? if this this so it could be some kind of DNA immunization. I have done it in the past for one of my research project. I wanted the BALB/c mouse to produce antibody against a complicated molecule that couldn't be purified and injected because the configuration could changed once the molecule was purified. Therefore, we decided to express the original molecule in mice by plasmid injection and immunization and have mice make the antibody against the foreign molecule expressed in the body.
It worked to some extend but the respond was not monospecific.
The aim is to make immunized
phage library to make ScFv against a particular peptide. But anyway, I found the answer for my question...Thanks everybody!!!!!
