Has anyone attempted in vivo selection of phage displayed scFv and if so with what sucsess?
you mean in a live animal or on cells in suspension?

never tried. sorry.
Anyway you may find some hint in Barbas et al. "Phage Display - a laboratory manual". There's a whole chapter dealing with in vivo selection.
Thanks, i have been using Barbas et al as my guide, but this deals more with in vivo peptide library selection rather than antibody display.

Could you please provide the name of the publisher and year the book is published with the editor/s names.
Publisher: Cold Spring Harbor Press (2001) Editors: Carlos Barbas III, Dennis R. Burton. Jamie K Scott and Gregg J Silverman
There is another really good Phage Display book " Phage Display a practical approach" Eds: Tim Clackson and Henry B Lowman (2004)
Hope that helps
I never saw Clackson and Lowman but heard it's good. Do you think it better than Barbas et al? and if so why?
Doesn't the animal's immune system wipe out the phages? The innate immune system could also be triggered so that even if T-cell / B-cell deficient animals were used, there would still be phage clearance....wouldn't there?
