What is Medicine - a science or an art?

Clinical Research is positioned somewhere between medicine and science. It is already not pure medicine, due to the experimental and scientific techniques that are involved, yet it is not totally science, because there are many medical, ethical and regulatory aspects.

And what is medicine? Is it a science or an art?

Yah, medicine is an art but but it can be only art when some science may involved in it. Without science, medicine is of no use. Art is involved with experiment side and science is with theoritical side. So, Thats why is alway called for medicine that it is a branch of science and art for drugs and its application for healing.

medicine is a science when you look into details of surgery, pharmacology and looking at patients in your clinic... the art in it is the way you handle your techniques or the way you prepare your drugs so that the people that are treated by you or take the medicine that you made, feel and know for sure that they are going to get better...
