6th Molecular Biology and Genetics Student Congres


Since 2007, ITU MBG Student Club has given an importance of ITU MBG Student Congresses in order to bring all students and scientists working in this field together. As you know from the previous meetings, we are aiming to prepare a useful scientific atmosphere to follow the recent researches of molecular biology and genetics. In this case, students can meet and talk with the keynote professors.

   In August 2012, we will organize “International ITU 6th Molecular Biology and Genetics Student Congress” with a new-modified concept. We will have 6 different sessions indicated on the below:

Session I. Developmental Genetics & Neuroscience

Session II. Evolution & Ecology

Session III. Drug Discovery & Cancer

Session IV. The RNA World & Epigenetics

Session V. Biotechnology & Bioinformatics

Session VI. Stem Cells & Immunology

Istanbul Technical University, Ayazaga Campus, KSB Oditorum, 34469, Maslak/Istanbul (ITU Ayazaga Campus Exit of ITU Ayazaga Metro Station)

Istanbul (Turkish: Istanbul) is Turkey’ s most populous city, and its cultural and financial center. Located on both sides of the Bosphorus, the narrow strait between the Black Sea and the Marmara Sea, Istanbul bridges Asia and Europe both physically and culturally.
