Abstract or Description:

Clip and shave the hair over the area where sacrum is attached with tail

clean it properly

do aspesis

drape the area keeping  the site of injection exposed ( Intervertebral space at First or second  coccygeal vertebral)

insert 20 G disposable sterilized needle attached with syringe filled with medicine to be injected into the epidural space

withdraw little aspirate into syringe from this space

if no resistance is offered or no blood comes out into syringe, inject the medicine into epidural space.

withdraw needle out after procedure

place an antiseptic swab over the area for a while.
