About My Research
My Doctoral studies focused on protein-protein interactions of the aryl hydrocarbon receptor (AHR) with the aryl hydrocarbon receptor nuclear translocator (ARNT, HIF-1B) 1 and 2 and those of ARNT1 and ARNT2 with the hypoxia-inducible factor (HIF-1a). Studies also examined the mechanism of degradation of the AHR, which occurs following ligand binding.
My postdoctoral research focuses on examining co-activators and co-repressors implicated in altering the dose response of the glucocorticoid receptor.
